Students attend a weekly Student Seminar Series where they present their research and answer questions from the GGD community.

GGD Students also attend a weekly outside speaker seminar series and are encouraged to attend the social hour that follows to meet the speaker and the GGD community.

Students are encouraged to explore the variety of seminars and journal clubs that are relevant to their research and/or interests, as well campus-wide interest groups in comparative and population genomics (http://3cpg.cornell.edu/), vertebrate genomics (https://cvg.cornell.edu/) and genome stability (https://micro.cornell.edu/research/r3-group/).  There are also numerous activities on campus that are noted on the Cornell Events page.
